Dooney & Bourke white "it" shoulder bag turning YELLOW?

I bought D&B's "it" bag when it first came out around 2004, but stopped using it after something like a year and put it in storage (a bamboo trunk surrounded by my room). Then last year I started noticing that it didn't look pretty as "white" as when I bought it, but thought it was just me and/or the lighting at the time. NOPE. Now it is this repulsive a** yellow PEE color. The same color that paper change when exposed to air over many years. WTF? It's singular been THREE years. I am so ticked off I spent over $200 on a cheap a** purse. I would've be better buying a frickin' knockoff!! PLUS the leather handles and trim are all discolored. Supposedly it's supposed to darken and look better near age. NOT. It's all discolored-some areas are darker than others. It merely looks TERRIBLE.

HAS ANYONE HAD THIS SAME PROBLEM WITH D&B? For their price I would expect much better. I'm sticking to Coach from now on.
Answers:
Ask D & B (or) ask a good Cobbler (a cobbler is a person that fixes/repairs shoes) they business in leather and they KNOW leather - they even know how to DYE leather. You'll get the answer you are looking for - so travel straight to a source that will even give you *storage* adivice.
the bamboo. it was the rattan!!
hey there, i own resembling a bunch of designer bags and store them in a dust purse. i bought a "it" white bag and wallent and used it for 1 month out of the year, and like you i put it away and inwardly 8 months of buying it, it started too discolor, along with the wallet and suit case, i also hold it in pink and the pink looks fine, so i called dooneybourke 1-800-347-5000
and told them they told me to verbs it with ivory soap, so i said WTF? i'm not gonna clean a sack that's manufactered discolored, and i live in a smoke free home with no pets or kids, i even stored it beside my white coach bag and its fine.get my point COMPLAIN!
and breed them replace it! but tell them you do not like the "it" oodles beacuse it sucks!! they should give you full credit for it.

but my advice merely stay away from the "it" bag it's somthing about the matter that stains and discolors trust me
