What is a Cambon Bag?

I've come accross some bags described as a Cambon bag. What style is this supposed to be and is it in recent times for Chanel Bags.

I found some cambon bags and they all give the impression of being to have the diamond sticthing on soft leather - is that what a Cambon style is?
