ebay deffinately, stay far away from instrument shops... they will rip u off completely!
Hi,
why on earth did you want to pay for a dubious 'designer' handbag anyway? These scam on eBay and other auction sites are so rarely genuine that I'm surprised to hear you compensated so much.
The short answer is, of course, that you could not sell honestly by describing your item as legitimate, as you now know it isn't. I fully appreciate how useless the eBay 'guarantee' is, but although the item is out of their responsibility the seller of this item is still a criminal.
Report this transaction to the trading Standards Officer, or the police, surrounded by your own country (I think the USA), giving them all the details you hold of the seller's name, address, PayPal accounts, etc. Although eBay and PayPal say the time is up and will not provide you the information (or protection) you need they DO have to make a contribution it to the police if the police request it.
The police, especially if you have full details, will be delighted to conduct yourself for you, and though you may not get back adjectives your money you will have the satisfaction of seeing this wholesaler face the legal consequences of their fraud. Once the wholesaler has been prosecuted through the courts it should be comfortable to get a private/civil court action against the salesperson to have a court order against them for them to label restitution for your losses.
Please don't try to sell the bag as actual on any other auction site as you will then be no better than the person who sold it to you. I know you read aloud you need the money, but if you were rich adequate to pay $700 for a bag within the first place you are rich enough to bear the cost of this expensive lesson contained by gullibility. One thing's for sure, you won't be easy to trick a second time, will you?
I'm sorry you were duped, you are within good company despite the legions of information telling us more or less these scam merchants who prowl on eBay and other sites.
Have a great Christmas time anyway and enjoy the rest of your life, a short time poorer, a little wiser (hopefully) and a whole lot more suspicious when it comes to bargain on eBay...
Cheers,
BobSpain
return it to ebay if it's not rea chanel, they should it take from you
never buy exspensive bags on the internet
If the girls at Channel cant tell its simulated take it back!!
If you bought of ebay and it be selling as an authentic Chanel then you can report the seller and ask for your money hindmost and $700 is a lot for a fake so contact Ebay cos they are really trying to stop that class of thing happening!!
If you bought it sour ebay where it was advertise as being real later you are entitiled to your money back. Report this to ebay and get a reimbursement!
