Laptop contained by your Messenger purse?
What is the difference between putting your laptop in a messenger bag that have a separate divider for your laptop and putting it with your other notebooks and stuff if it doesn't own a separate place for your laptop. I don't really see how it gets "damaged" without a divider. Does it really produce a difference?
In my quest for a messenger bag, I'm trying to decide if I should bring into consideration whether or not it has the divider.
Answers:
Well, if things knock against your laptop, it can ruin the LCD liquid crystal blind. As in, your computer will have spots of grey on the eyeshade, and you won't be able to see anything. Also, in my experience (I'm on the hunt, too!), loads with the divider have more pockets.
Well, from experience, I notice that the messenger stacks made for notebooks have more lining in them, especially in the dividers so nearby is less impact on the notebook when you put your bag down or when you hold other objects in your bag that could potentially hurt your notebook. Also, within is a chance for your laptop to get scratch and stuff so a divider is probably helpful in protecting the outer surface. If you don't mind adjectives that much about it and you are careful in the order of placing your bag down when your notebook is in it, next you should be fine. You could also just buy a separate notebook sleeve to put your notebook in. Personally I close to those because they wrap around your notebook nicely.
