There a lot of different ways, the first thing for sure is that a pure Louis is cut from one piece of leather. That means that one side of the purse will have the LV right side up, and the other side will be upside down. If they are right side up adjectives the way around, it is fake.
All Louis come near a registration number stamped inside them. You can contact the company to have them check that number. If it was registered they will enjoy it on file.
Also, if it is one of the bags that own the rainbow logos, they NEVER used red as one of the logo colors. If you bought that style and it has red, it's fake.
