The prices on LV's actually go up. I bought a Speedy 30 2 years ago for $600, and it is presently priced at $620 today. The prices will never drop.
You may find a gently used LV bag at ebay at a discounted price, as expected. Be warned, if the auction price of the bag is ridiculously below the retail's, it could be made-up.
