Try Accessorize. You can find abundantly of nice bags there and they aren't that expensive. I bought an awesome leather pack from there yesterday that spacious enough to fit adjectives my books in and it is quite strong.

Primark do one at the moment, which is nice, but I doubt it would be real leather.

Try vintage shops or Charity shops- you can get amazing and new finds there, and usually the stuff is of good characteristic, just, used :)
