There is no website for you to check serial numbers. Even if there be, don't you think the counterfeit people would merely copy the numbers? If you are trying to authenticate a bag, take photos and post them on "thepurseforum.com" beneath the Louis Vuitton section. Or go to mypoupette.com and pay cheque them $10 to authenticate the bag through photos. You should know that Louis Vuitton doesn't wholesale so you can only buy authentic directly form their stores.
Look inside of the bag and read the tax inside. There should be a serial number. You may shift online and look it up. Otherwise, there is no real opening to tell since replicas are getting very close to the resourceful.

my sister has two real ones, they hold a metal label on the inside saying where on earth its made, one bag says France one say Spain. I even called a LV store to make sure they are made contained by both countries, One bag she got from the store itself the other she get online.
look at the stub on the inside
If the "LV" logo is upright on both sides, it might be a fake, usualy it's adjectives on one and upside down on the other.
If the piping is not leather, it is pretty safe to say it's phoney
If the seams are uneven, frayed, the monogram is bad or the bag is poorly sewn, it is definitely lie.
If it's a new bag and the bag's pedal is a different color leather than that of the piping, it's fake.
If it comes with a dust cover and the dust cover have rounded edges and/or it doesn't come with a dust cover, it's fake.
If the purse has a hanging marker (of any type) or a bright yellow tag or envelope, it's most imagined a fake.
