It looks like it can hold only one tacky textbook. I love using messenger bags, but I ALWAYS go to my locker at respectively passing period. It's a way of mine. If you're one of those people who don't go to their lockers lots times during the day, I wouldn't recommend that.

it probably will, but i learned from experience that a backpack is much more comfortable. it evens out the cargo from the backpack to two shoulders instead of one. :)

But, if you don't have a locker, and hold to store all of your books in nearby it might not be big enough.
So, I suppose it depends what grade you're going to, and how plentiful books you believe you'll need ?
